THE COTTAGE
Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally located historical fisherman's cottage in East Looe. Perfectly located, yards from the harbour and a few minutes walk from the sandy beach and the iconic Banjo Pier, Quayside Cottage is a beautiful bright and cosy contemporary home. Upstairs, vaulted ceilings and exposed beams are a feature throughout and complement the bright kitchen/diner. The balcony in the master bedroom overlooks the beautiful harbour and picturesque West Looe. Cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops are all within a few minutes walking distance!
The holiday home - with a balcony and river views - features two bedrooms, a living room with flat-screen smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and wine fridge, and two bathrooms with walk-in showers. Luxury towels and bed linen are provided.
Central heating is available throughout; you can control it with the thermostat which is situated on the kitchen worktop.
LIVING SPACE
Downstairs you walk straight in to the sitting room which is well-equipped with two large, comfy settees and a flat-screen smart TV.
Superfast fibre broadband is provided. For quieter moments, there are a selection of books and board games in the cupboard under the smart TV. If you are feeling particularly chilly, there is an oil-fired radiator available under the stairs to support the central heating radiator.
If you would like some help to transport your luggage from your car, there is a small luggage trolley tucked under the stairs.
A staircase at the back of the room takes you to the upstairs landing.
BEDROOMS
Quayside Cottage sleeps four.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed and balcony with views over the quayside and West Looe and comes with an ensuite shower room. There are two chairs and a small table in the master bedroom so you can take full advantage of the exceptional views over the quay. A hairdryer is provided in the top drawer of the chest of drawers in the master bedroom.
The second bedroom - also with an ensuite shower room - has a double bed. Both beds have luxury mattresses and are exceptionally comfortable. Both rooms have ample drawers and hanging space for your clothes.
Towels and towelling bath mats are provided in the shower rooms. There is storage under the beds for suitcases and bags to keep them out of your way. Hand soap dispensers are provided throughout the cottage.
KITCHEN AND DINING AREA
The kitchen is modern and contains an oven, hob and microwave. There is a full-size dishwasher and wine fridge along with a fridge/freezer. There is a coffee machine with a selection of coffee pods next to a large toaster. Dish washer tablets and washing-up liquid is provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped with glassware, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and pots/pans. Everything you need to make a home-cooked meal or snack is available.
There is a dining table with four comfy chairs. An iron and ironing board are provided.
PARKING
We are on a waiting list for a parking space but this can take years in Looe! The best place to park is the Harbour Car Park (Buller's Quay in the Parkonomy app) and walk down past the harbour to the cottage (details are on the 'Getting There' page) then park long-term in the Millpool Car Park (a ten or fifteen-minute walk across the bridge).
